The Intimidator 12XPC is a Mid-sized 12″ hydraulic-feed drum-style chipper, featuring the same feed system as 12XP but with limited engine options, no winch option, smaller axle and tires, channel frame and lighter infeed. Its compact design makes the 12XPC easy to tow and position, and its feed rate of 120 feet per minute quickly converts large quantities of brush into dimensional chips. Gasoline and diesel engine options up to 84 horsepower will keep the crew busy feeding and Bandit’s solid construction will provide years of dependable service.

All competitive 12″ capacity drum chippers feature close to the same diameter drum as the 12xpc, but what separates this model apart is the drum turns at approximately 1,530 RPM compared to other competitive units turning over 2,000 RPM. A slower turning drum requires less horsepower and fuel to chip material while generating more torque increasing the overall efficiently of the chipper.
Dual-Feed Wheel System
A powerful horizontal dual wheel feed system will crush and compress material, reducing the cost of converting trees and brush into chips. Two 15.9 CID hydraulic motors generate 1,688 lbs. of pulling power for each feed wheel. The optional hydraulic lift cylinder adds an additional 2,200 pounds of down pressure reducing the need to trim and reposition material to feed the chipper. A bottom clean out door is also included allowing dirt and debris to fall out extending knife life while reducing maintenance costs.

4-Chipping Knives
The 12XPC has 4 chipper knives making 2 full cuts per revolution and has double the knives of all competitive 12″ drum chippers. The additional knives provide greater production and longer knife life. Extending knife life not only lowers knife maintenance costs but reduces fuel consumption, vibration and associated maintenance costs caused by running with dull knives.

The Intimidator 12XPC, because of its more efficient chip discharge system, synchronized feed systems, 4-knife chipping drum and high torque drive, will chip using less energy, which means that you will use less fuel (30% in some cases) and choose a lower horsepower, less-costly engine, if that is your desire.

Large, sloping infeed hopper and throat openings reduce operator labor and increase production. The 29” high x 54” wide infeed hopper opening easily accommodates limby material. The infeed hopper slopes down 3º, reducing the effort associated with feeding material up to 12” diameter. The 14.25” x 17” throat opening easily accepts this limby, brushy material.
