The Model 2590 is an economical mid-sized whole tree chipper that will completely pack full length chip vans. The large 26 1/4″ high x 30″ wide throat opening provides ample room for maximum productivity.
“Powerful Feed System”
The Model 2590 features an extremely powerful feed system that will make feeding the unit simple and quick. This system reduces hang-ups by compressing material with numerous forks and branches. Operators will spend less time repositioning material and more time feeding the unit. Key factors that make this feed system so productive include a 36″ wide x 27″ diameter chain-driven top feed wheel with (2) 63.9 CID motors and a 36″ wide x 10-5/8″ diameter bottom feed wheel driven by (1) 14.5 CID motor on bottom drive, plugged into a 5:1 gearbox. The drive system generates over over 16,000 pounds of pulling power.
“Optional Cab & Loader”
The 2590 can also be equipped with an optional Rotobec cab and loader. This configuration is very useful for companies that do not want to invest in a separate loader to feed the unit.
